I. Complaint Policy

Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS) is committed to providing quality service for its participants. One of the ways in which We can continue to improve Our service is by listening and responding to the views of Our members and customers, and in particular by responding to complaints in a prompt and polite manner.

Complaints must be in writing, signed and submitted to GSSIS Complaints, 201 N. Brand Blvd, Suite 200, Glendale, CA 91203, or [email protected]. Complaint must allege a violation that occurred no more than one (1) year prior to the date the complaint is received by GSSIS. Each complaint must include the following:

A statement describing the violation, including the date, in question,

A list of facts to support the alleged violation claim, and

A signature and contact information for complainant, including phone number and email.

Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS) will review all complaints within a reasonable time they are received and respond within fifteen (15) business days by phone or mail. Each complaint will be resolved within sixty (60) business days. If further time or action is required the complainant will be notified.

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California Website users are entitled to the following specific consumer rights notice: The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 N. II. Online Courses and Certification

Provider Approvals. Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS) is an approved Training Facility by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (“BSIS”), license number TFF 1351.

Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS) reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, remove, or reschedule any online course or may modify its content, platform, or availability. The Refund Policy below applies to all courses.

Some courses provide continuing education credit for Users who successfully complete each course as specified. Satisfactory completion of each course is solely determined by Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS). Each satisfactory completion by a User will warrant a certificate which lists the Users name, the course name, continuing education hours earned, date of completion, and Our information, signed by the appropriate director, instructor, or trainer.

Satisfactory completion of a course requires the User receive a passing grade on each exam, quiz or lesson. A passing grade is to receive a certificate requires one hundred (100%) percent of the answers correct. All examinations will be taken on site. The amount of time allotted to take such exam is unlimited.

III.Termination Rights

Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS) may, in its sole discretion, terminate Your use of the Website or Your User Account with or without reason, and Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services (GSSIS) shall have no liability to You for any such action. We have the right to cancel, delay, reschedule, remove, or alter the format of any course at any time without notice.

If We terminate Your User Account, based on Your breach of these TOU, any purchases of courses will not be subject to a refund. If We terminate Your User Account for any other reason, We may refund Your purchases subject to the Refund Policy below.

IV. Refund Policy

Refund Policy. Once You have purchased a course You can receive a full refund within 15 days of purchase, unless You have taken the exams. Once You have taken the exams, no refund will be provided.

V. Student Honor Code.

By participating in a course you agree to follow the following Student Honor Code:

You will register for only one User Account.

Your answers to quizzes, exams, and all other work will be Your own work and will not be an infringement or plagiarism of another person’s work

You will not allow another person to take quizzes, exams, or any other work in Your name or under Your User Account.

You will not make the answers and solutions to the quizzes, exams, or any other work available to anyone else in any medium or fashion.

You will not engage in any other activities that will dishonestly improve your results or dishonestly improve or hurt the results of others.

VI. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability.

The User is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations of the jurisdiction from which the User accesses this Website. Glendale School of Security and Investigative Services strives to comply with all applicable California and federal laws and regulations.
